Humans of CDP #135: Lilly ’26 & Teresa ’25

Today’s #HumansofCDP are last semester's pair Lilly Van Wagenen ’26 and Teresa Crisantos-Prudencio ’25. Check out what these two have to say about CDP and one another!

Why CDP?

Lilly:

I wanted to be a CDP facilitator to keep engaging in dialogues that cultivate connection across difference. I really enjoy connecting with my students and the rest of the CDP community and getting to build meaningful relationships through discussing real current conflicts and hearing new perspectives that challenge my assumptions and thought processes.

Teresa:

The growth I experience in CDP is the thing I always come back to. I am surrounded by people who support this growth and who inspire me every day: the CDP team, the other facilitators, and our students. I know I will always be challenged here, which makes the work even more meaningful.

What's your favorite thing about your co-facilitator?

Lilly:

My favorite thing about Teresa is her empathy and overwhelmingly positive attitude. She is always intentionally engaging with our students during class and sharing her honest thoughts and perspectives to really be both a teacher and learner all the time. She is such a supportive co-facilitator to me and an amazing friend.

Teresa:

Lilly is such an amazing and truly inspiring person! It is so fun to facilitate alongside her every week. She is always ready to meet our students where they are, which I learn so much from. However, she is also always willing to push and support them to help them learn and grow as much as they can.
