Today’s #HumansofCDP are another one of last semester's pairs Esunge Ntiege '26 and Claire Ceske ’24. Check out what these two have to say about CDP and one another!
Why CDP?
Esunge:
CDP has been a great way for me to connect with myself. Not only does what we learn help facilitate human connection, it also helps with connecting with oneself and introspection.
Claire:
CDP is such a unique opportunity to learn more about how the world works and how people interact with one another and unpacking all of the systemic factors that contribute to creating norms that I have previously come to take for granted. CDP has made me such a better communicator, so much more involved in my community, and so much more of a citizen of the world and I am very grateful to have been given this space where I could grow.

What's your favorite thing about your co-facilitator?
Esunge:
Her honesty. She finds a way to be entirely honest, while still being respectful, constructive and empathetic.
Claire:
My favorite thing about Esunge is our our approach to our planning meetings. We usually come to my apartment and make food together and hangout and talk and enable each other to be distracted and unproductive until it gets late enough that we need to lock in. I think this exemplifies the thing I love most about Esunge is that it feels like she is always living and enjoying herself in the way that simple things become so much more enjoyable and engaging.
